Athma Kalari is a traditional Gurukulam rooted in Kalaripayattu, India's ancient martial art, and Kalari Chikitsa, its accompanying system of Ayurvedic healing. Founded in 2005 by Ashan Vipin Das, it has grown into one of Kerala's leading Kalari schools, registered with the Kerala Kalaripayattu Association and the Indian Kalarippayattu Federation.
Residential students train twice a day in traditional technique, alongside classical yoga, meditation and uzhichil — a Kalari Ayurvedic massage also offered as a standalone therapy for spine and cervical conditions.
