Stories of India
Seven States, One Tree
Why WRIKSH sees India's regions not as separate destinations, but as branches of the same root system.
Every state we work in tells a slightly different story — a different craft, a different rhythm, a different relationship to land and ritual. But underneath, the same root shows up again and again: practices that exist to hold a community together, not to perform for an audience.
That's the idea behind the tree at the center of our brand. The canopy is wide and varied — Kalaripayattu in Kerala, Warli painting in Maharashtra, Bandhani in Gujarat — but it's all fed by the same root system: people who inherited something, and are still willing to hand it to someone new.
We built WRIKSH to be a way into that root system, not just a viewing platform above it.
