What you'll do
Come Diwali, Goan windows light up with akash kandils — star-shaped paper lanterns glowing in every colour. In this after-school session at the Museum of Goa's Children's Art Studio, children cut, fold and decorate a lantern of their own to hang at home.
It's part of the museum's November programme for young makers, set in one of Goa's liveliest contemporary art spaces.
