Why you'll love it

  • Cook classic Indo-Portuguese dishes hands-on
  • Small group of 4–8, so everyone cooks
  • Learn the history behind every recipe
  • Sit down to eat what you made

What you'll do

Goan food is a conversation four centuries long: coconut, kokum and local spice meeting vinegar, bread and slow-cooked Portuguese methods. The result is a cuisine you'll find nowhere else in India.

In this two-hour class at CIPA you cook alongside the instructor in a group of four to eight, learning the techniques and the stories behind each dish — then sit down together to eat. Ideal for food lovers who want more than a restaurant meal.
